About The Team
- Llandudno Lightning Basketball
- Welcome to Llandudno Lightning Blogspot. Llandudno Lightning Basketball (Lightning Basketball) was formed by Tim Sweetman & Jordon Groves in 2007. Three years on we now cater for local boys and girls. Our players are aged from 16 to adult and we run three teams in North Wales including Coleg Llandrillo.
Our Philosophy
We are a community club, determined to stick to our local roots and develop local players to the best of their abilities. Our coaches have a wealth of experience as both players and coaches, which they bring to training every Tuesday Night and onto the court at games.
Our experienced coaching philosophy is directed to making our players better people in the community. We are as proud of the first successful shot by our least experienced players as we are of our brightest talents.

Lightning Seniors
This squad is an up and comming squad and offers challenges to many of our younger players.
We play in the North Wales League, with home and away games, offering the opportunity for our young, recently qualified table officials to be involved in the running of games.
